Intility Asset Management System
1. Introduction
For all new, incoming customers, Intility conducts an analysis of the company’s current PC- and hardware inventory. The purpose of the analysis is to get an overview of specifications and guarantee status, and is carried out using Intility’s own software called Intility Asset Management System (IAMS). Based on the output of the analysis, Intility will provide an overview of the current hardware inventory, and offer advice related to continuation-, upgrading- and replacement of PCs and other hardware.
2. How does it work?
During the onboarding project, you will receive an email with instructions from your internal IT contact. The email will contain a link to the IAMS software, as well as company-specific information needed to complete the computer registration. After clicking the link and providing the requested information, the analysis will start. Upon the completion of the analysis, the output will be encrypted and automatically sent to Intility.
3. What information does the software collect?
By running the IAMS software, Intility will collect the following information:
Technical information:
- RAM
- CPU
- Operating system version
- Operating system language
- Computer model
- Computer manufacturer
- Installed applications
- Other technical information
Personal information:
- First name
- Surname
- Mobile number
- Email address
4. Information storage
Information obtained is stored in on Intility's servers and is deleted 90 days after creation.
5. Other information
The collection of this information is vital to uphold the obligations specified in the contract between Intility and your employer. Personal information is not distributed to any third party and is exclusively used by Intility. After completing the analysis, you are entitled to see the personal information stored about you, and can further demand deletion or correction if the information is inaccurate or incorrect. The information is not used for any other purposes, such as profiling, without the consent of the user.
